Mobile Phone Operator Robi Axiata Limited, nation’s only Passive Infrastructure Company, Bangladesh Infrastructure Company Limited (BICL) and Nationwide Internet Service Provider Tomato Web (Pvt.) Limited have recently signed a Tripartite Agreement regarding Infrastructure Sharing. This is the 1st Agreement BICL signed after being launched on 1st June 2013.Chief Market Officer of Robi, Pradeep Shrivastava, Acting Managing Director and Head of Finance of BICL, Faruk Ahammad and DirectorTomato Web Mohd. Arif Hossen Khan signed the agreement at BICL Corporate Office.
Robi, BICL and TomatoWeb expect to have more sharing and cooperation in the coming days. Infrastructure Sharing will help Tomato Web to expand its network more efficiently and in faster manner. This will greatly benefit the end customers by increasing the availability of communication services, increasing consumer choice and reducing the cost of services.This will also help Robi and Tomato Web to cut the cost & be competitive. This is a big step to realize the Digital Bangladesh dream in line with the government vision.
From BICL, Head of Sales and Business Development Ahmed Armaan Siddiqui and Head of Human Resources Rizwan Hamid Quraishi were also present at the agreement signing ceremony along with other senior officials.
From Tomato Web, Manager Network Operation Md. Alamgir Hossain, Manager Power Division Mr. Rakibul Islam, Executive Engineer Mr. Asif Rezwan and System Administrator Mr. Abul Hasanat were also present at the agreement signing ceremony along with other senior officials. – Press Release
