Dhaka – A three-day ‘familiarisation’ tour for the Ambassadors and High Commissioners stationed in Dhaka began in the beach town of Cox’s Bazar on Monday.
The Foreign Ministry arranged the familiarisation programme in which envoys representing various countries, including Russia, Pakistan, Brazil, the Netherlands, Singapore, Turkey, Nepal, Bhutan, the Maldives, Myanmar, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Vietnam and North Korea are participating.State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam is accompanying the foreign diplomats who will travel to different parts of the Cox’s Bazar to see the scenic beauties of Bangladesh, said an official at the Foreign Ministry.
Heads of a number of international organizations are also there on the tour. – UNB
