Police recovered the body of a domestic help at Bangpai village in Chauddagram upazila of the district on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Rupa Akter, 14, daughter of Jafar Ullah of Rahimpur village in Lalmohan upazila of Bhola district.On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered Rupa’s body from a toilet at the house of one Nurul Islam at Bangpai village in the upazila in the morning. Police also sent the body to Comilla Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, said Shafi Ullah, sub-inspector of Chauddagram Police Station.Police said Rupa had come here on a visit with her employer Fatema who lives in Dhaka.A case was filed with Chauddagram police station in this connection. -UNB, Comilla
