The Pir Shaheb of Charmonai Mufti Syed Rezaul Karim said on Moday that the desire of ceertain quarters to create a state without religion in Bangladesh would not succeed.
He said that the government has created thr ground for this by removing absolute faith in Almighty Allah and putting secularism in the Constitution.The Pir Shaheb said this while addressing an Islami conference at Dumuria upazila road under Satkhira district on Monday. He said there was no peace in countries professing secularism which in his words meant faithlessness.
Mufti Syed Rezaul Karim said that there has been thousands of incidents of violence and communal attacks in secular India. He accused the government of deploying extremists to create the ground for creating faithless in the country.
He criticised attacks on head-gear, beard and veil in educational institutions and said that an explosive situation was developing in the country because of Islam-hate policy of the government, said an Islami Andolan press release on Monday
