Dhaka University (DU) and Quinnipiac University (QU), USA on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop academic and educational cooperation of the commerce faculty students and enhance friendly relationship between the two universities.
Professor Dr Mohammad Niamat Elahi of International Business Department of DU and Dean of the School of Business Department of QU Prof Dr Matthew O’Connor signed the MoU on behalf of their respective universities at the DU Vice-Chancellor’s lounge, said a university release here today.
Treasurer Prof Dr Kamal Uddin, Dean of Business Faculty Prof Shibli Rubayat Ul Islam, Accounting Alumni Senior Vice-President Hassan Ahamed Chowdhury Kiron represented the Dhaka University.
As per the deal, the graduate students of DU commerce faculty would get an opportunity to read at the Quinnipiac University for two subsequent years after complete their first two years education at the university.
Besides, different short-term education programmes including research, training, publications and exchange of educational materials are remaining under the MoU.
