A Dhaka University student was found hanging by neck in a market at Shahbagh in the city Saturday. The deceased was identified as Abul Bashar, a final year student of Statistics Department of the university and son of Wahab Khan of Shailakupa upazila of Jhenidah district. Bashar, a resident of Amar Ekushey Hall, used to work in a buying house at Anandabaza market. Bashar’s brother-in-law Farhad, who worked in the same office, found him hanging when he entered the office in the morning. On information, police rushed in but did not remove the body till 5:00 pm. – UNB
