The officials of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) arrested the education officer of Lohagara upazila with bribe money from his office on Wednesday.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Fiznur Rahman said acting on secret information, a team of ACC officials raided the office of Mirazuddin, education officer of the upazila, when he was taking bribe of Tk 20,000 from a man assuring him of giving a job of peon in a primary school in the upazila.The UNO also said disciplinary action will be taken against the education officer. -UNB, Chittagong
