New York: Eid-ul-Fitr, the greatest religious festival of the Muslims, was celebrated in United States of America on Sunday 25 June with due earnestness and religious fervour. The festival came after the holy Ramadan, the month of fasting.
The New York cities largest Eid congregation was held at Jamaica Muslim Centre. Ten thousands of Muslims offering the prayers looking for great blessings, peace and progress for United States and the Muslim Ummah.
A special munajat was offered looking for marvelous blessings for peace and development of the country, welfare of the people and greater unity and integrity of the world Muslims.
Besides, Eid congregations were also held on at Jackson Heights New York Eidgah, Jackson Heights Islamic Centre and more others places In Queens, Parkchester Jamey Masjid Ground, PS 109 play ground, Oval Park play ground, Baitul Aman Masjid In Bronx and Church MacDonald Avenue Area, Ozone park Brooklyn in New York.
Most of them Bangladeshi Community’s People and South Asian Community visiting the houses of their relatives, friends and neighbors to greet them.
