Eight people have been sued in connection with the killing of
Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal activist Mamunur Rashid in Barura upazila of
Comilla on Thursday.
The eight include activist of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) Babul
Hossain Bappi as prime accused.
Anwar Hossain, brother-in-law of the victim, filed the case on Friday
accusing Bappi and his seven associates with the local police station.
The complainant in the case statement alleged that Mamunur Rashid, 22,
son of Sekandar Ali of East Padua village, had been stabbed to death
by Babul Hossain Bappi and his seven associates following a conflict
over exchanging money from a motorcycle sale on Thursday night.
