Jhenidah – One elderly woman died and seven others were badly injured at Nogorbathan area in Jhenidah-Chuadanga highway when a shallow enigne driven light vehicle locally known as “Nocimon” overturned on Wednesday morning.The deceased was identified as Fatema Khatun, 62, wife of Shomsher Ali Mondol of Munshiganj village under Alamdanga upazila in Chuadanga distirct.
Police and witnesses said a speedy nocimon that reached the spot at Nogorbathan area suddenly overturned, and 8 passangers were badly injured. The local people rushed to admit them to Jhenidah sadar hospital. Later the on duty doctor reffered two of eight passengers to Faridpur medical college hospital. Fatema died on her way to Faridpur.
