The election of 13 Municipals of Rajshahi held through clash, chaos and life-threathening. During the occurring polls BNP candid was battered by his rival of Awami league in Taherpur municipal while local Awami league leaders burnt the election camp of BNP leader in Bhabaniganj municipal.Yesterday at round 1.00pm BNP candid Abu Nayem Md. Shamsur Rahman with his six activists were attacked by Awami league and Chatra league where victim is now in a critical condition.
Besides those a number of allegation arise that includes bar to franchise in ward 7 of Taherpur Municipal, chase and counter-chase between police and locals at 11.00 in Bhabaniganj municipal.
Amirul Islam, a returning of Rajshahi district informed that, from 8.00am to 4.00pm election held in 13 municipals where 51 to Mayor post 468 to general council and 134 to reserved post to vie.
It is noted that, number voters in above municipal are 2 lakh 47 thousand 207 of 137 center where 39 were marked as most important 53 important and 39 as riskful. No grave incident was occurred at the polling time.
