Dhaka- A wild elephant was found dead at bordering Gandhigaon village in Jhenaigati upazila in Sherpur on Tuesday morning.Md Rafiqul Islam, beat officer of Gazni beat of Department of Forest in Jhenaigati upazila, said locals spotted the elephant 25/30 yards off Gandigaon Bonrani rest house and informed the forest office.
On information, officials of the forest department recovered the body around 7am.The official said that the body bore an injury mark under its right ear.UNB
