Perth,(AP/UNB) – England will bat first on Saturday in its two-day tour match against a Cricket Australia XI at Perth’s Richardson Park, where the hosts have opted to bowl.Moeen Ali, who is captaining England for the first time, is the only player from the tourists’ incumbent test XI taking part in the fixture.Victoria opener Travis Dean is leading an inexperienced CA XI.”This is a great opportunity for the young guys in our team to showcase their skills,” Moeen said at the toss.England trails the five-match Ashes series 2-0 with the third test set to start next Thursday at Perth’s WACA ground.
