Non-government organisation Agriculture Sustainable and Socio Economic
Development Organisation (ASSEDO) distributed 2,200 saplings of fruits
and wood trees among ultra poor women at Alatuli union under
Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila on Tuesday under its ‘Nadi-O-Jiban-2’
project with the association Concern World Wide.
During the distribution of saplings, executive director of ASSEDO Md.
Rabiul Alam, BSS correspondent Dr. Ainal Hoque, supervisor of
Nadi-O-Jiban-2 project Md. Nurul Islam and Md. Maimur Hossain were
present.
ASSEDO sources said that the saplings were collected from the Forest
Department and Regional Horticulture Research Station (RHRS) with the
association of the lawmaker of Chapainawabganj sadar constituency Md.
Abdul Wadud and upazila nirbahi officer of Chapainawabganj Sadar Dr.
