The environmental organisations have demanded budget to face the effect on climate change.
The Network on Climate Change, Bangladesh (NCC’B) came with the demand Tuesday at a human chain and demonstration held in front of National Press Club.Speakers at the human chain demanded model ecosystem in coastal areas, draught areas, flood plain, hills and hours. They also recommended strengthening climate fund.
They pressed an eight-point demand for immediate application laws to minimise green house gas emissions abd fulfil other obligations.
The environment network included Nobolok, CCDB, ASD, BASA, CBSDP, Unnayan Dhara, Shari, Leaders and Mati jointly organized the human chain in Khulna, Rajshahi, Barisal, Mymensing, Sunamganj, Golapganj, Jhenaidah, Pirojpur, Tangail, Magura, Sherpur, Satkhira, Madaripur and Baghergat from 11:00am to 12 O’clock
