A report was published in a daily that two villages of Paba upazila under Rajshahi district had been declared free from child marriage on 27 November, 2013. From that time, no early marriage have been solemnised in these two villages.Damkura union parishad along with a Non-Government Organization (NGO) -Centre for Mass Education in Science (CMES) took the initiative. There are about 2200 NGOs including BRAC, the largest one in the world, working for the wellbeing of the people of the country.
If each NGO works for a few villages the problems of development of all the villages would be diminished within a few years. There are so many cases of over-lapping in the activities of GO-NGO and NGO-NGO and some cases overlapping is found in the activities of the same organisation.

NGOs should not work separately rather collectively and cover the whole country emphasising coverage of the vulnerable areas to address problems facing those.
