Jatiya Party President H M Ershad left Dhaka for Seoul on Wednesday on a five-day visit to attend the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP).
Party Presidium member Golam Moshe is accompanying him, says a media release.
Presidium members including Kazi Jafar Ahmed, GM Kader, and Secretary General ABM Ruhul Amin Hawlader saw him off at the Shahjalal International airport in the morning.
Launched in 2000, ICAPP aims at promoting mutual understanding and trust among the political parties of countries in Asia, Middle-East and Oceania.
Currently more than 300 political parties in the region with diverse political and ideological backgrounds are eligible to participate in its activities.-bdnews24.com
