Dhaka, Oct 29 – Former mayor of undivided Dhaka City Corporation and BNP vice-chairman Sadeque Hossain Khoka is seriously indisposed. The veteran freedom fighter suffering from kidney cancer is undergoing treatment at Memorial Slowen Catering Cancer Center in New York, the United States for a long time.
The health condition of Khoka, also a former president of Dhaka city unit of BNP, has seriously been deteriorated on Monday, according to his family sources.
Family members of the former Dhaka city mayor sought prayer for blessings of Allah from the people for his recovery.
Talking to journalists, Engr Ishraque Hossain, the son of Sadeque Hossain Khoka, said the health condition of his father is not good.
On behalf of his family, he urged the people to seek sought bleesings for his father.
Khoka has been living in the US since May 2014 and remained inactive in politics. – Staff Reporter
