Dhaka – Police recovered the body of former central president of ‘Jatiya Chhatra Samaj’ student wing of Jatiya Party, from Easter Housing area of Mirpur in the city on Sunday.
The victim was identified as Sayed Mizanur Rahman Himo, 36, son of late Ataur Rahman, of Sirajdikhan in Monshigonj district.He had been residing at a flat of 26/1 Lal Mohon Street of Wari along with his 1st wife Labonno. His 2nd wife Moli has been living in USA.
Being informed, a team of Rupnagar police station recovered the body from a vacant plot of K Block of Eastern Housing in Mirpur-12 at around 9:30 am.
Police suspected that he might have had been strangulated to death because of previous enmity.
The Assistant Commissioner (Pallabi Zone) of DMP Jakir Hossain said reason behind the killing could not be ascertained immediately but it might be due to family feud.
The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy in the afternoon. – News Desk
