Revenue collection from submission of tax returns is very important for developing a country. About fifteen and a half lakh tax-payers submitted their return in the last tax year 2016-2017 and five lakh of them were new taxpayers.This number could be more if people have sound knowledge of tax calculation. Online tax calculation is easy but it must familiarize. People can submit online tax return from this tax year 2017-18 which must be familiarized during the tax fair in the first week of November 2017 across the divisional town and district town.
Undergraduate and graduate students from various colleges and universities can be trained on online tax calculation and they can help the taxpayers by filing their return online in the fair.
