A farmer was killed in a lightning strike at Talom Padmapara village
in Tarash upazila of the district on Tuesday.
The victim was identified as Didar Hossain, 45, son of Sukur Ali of the village.
Villagers’ sources said Didar was struck by a lightning strike around
1.00pm while he was going to his cropland and died on the spot. -UNB,
