A schoolteacher and his son were killed as a truck crashed into a motorcycle they were riding at Modern intersection in the district town on Saturday morning.
The deceased were identified as Raushonujjaman, 45, and his son Shuvo, 10.Police control room sources said a speeding truck ran into the motorbike carrying the duo in the area at about 7:45 am, leaving them dead on the spot.Police recovered the bodies and sent those to hospital morgue for autopsy.
