Dhaka – A female medical student was killed in a road accident at Nayabazar in the city’s Bangshal area on Saturday morning.The victim was identified as Sathia, 22, a student of Dhaka National Medical College and daughter of Mohammad Hasanuzzaman, a resident of Rajshahi.Enamul, sub-inspector of Bangshal Police Station, said a private car hit the CNG-run auto-rickshaw carrying Sathia in the area while she was going to her college around 6:00am, leaving her seriously injured.She was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctors declared her dead around 7.50am, said sub-inspector Bachchu Miah, in-charge of DMCH police camp.UNB agency
