Dhaka – Ferry services on Paturia-Daulatdia route in the Padma River resumed after three and a half hours of disruption caused by dense fog on Monday morning.Assistant General Manager of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) at Aricha Nasir Mohammad Chowdhury said they kept suspended ferry services on the route from 7:00 am to 10:30 am due to poor visibility caused by thick fog.Following suspension of ferry services, hundreds of vehicles were stranded at Paturia and Daulatdia ghats, causing acute sufferings to the passengers, he also said.UNB news agency
