A fire broke out at a shopping centre in the city’s Science Laboratory area on Thursday morning.The duty officer at the Fire Service Central Control Room said the fire originated on the first floor of the four-storey ‘Priyangan Shopping Centre’ around 9:20am.On information, nine firefighting units rushed in and they doused the
blaze around 11:30am, he said adding that no one was injured in the fire.The reason behind the fire could not be ascertained yet. -UNB
