Dhaka – The Walton First National Women’s Baseball Championship, organized by Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association (BBSA), will begin at Dhanmondi Sultana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex here on Sunday.Chief of Sports and Welfare of the meet’s sponsor Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar will inaugurate the meet at 12pm on the day while Chairman of Joyjatra Foundation Helena Jahangir will also present on the occasion. UNB agency A total of eight teams, split into two groups, will compete in the three-day competition on knock out basis. Final match will be held on Tuesday.Participating teams are:Group A–Bangladesh Police, Dhaka DSA, arunnisa Noon School & College and Solaiman SC.Group B – Bangladesh Ansar, Eden Mohila College, Sirajganj Krira Sikkha Protishtan ands Dhaka Commerce CollegeFour matches will be held on Sunday while two semifinals billed on Monday and the final on Tuesday.
