Normal life and vehicular movements were badly affected for the third consecutive day today as a mild cold wave coupled with dense fog continued sweeping in the district.
Only a fewer member of day labourers and farm workers were found working amid foggy weather in the crop fields, movement of vehicles on roads were disrupted as thick layers of fog reduced the visibility.
The vehicles were found plying with their headlights to avoid any accident.
The sun remained blanketed by thick fog for the past three days. Local Agriculture office recorded the minimum temperature at 9 degrees Celsius this morning. -BSS, Joypurhat
