Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested a member of notorious forest robber gang ‘Alam Bahini’ from Laboni More area of the district town early Saturday.The arrestee was identified as Akbar Hossain,35, son of Abdur Rahim, a resident of Tengrakhali village adjacent to Sundarbans in Shyamnagar upazila.Police said tipped off, a team of DB police conducted a drive in the area and arrested Akbar at about 12:30 am.
