Dhaka – Four peoples have been burnt in a cylinder blast at the Rajshahi Cadet College (RCC), about 300 kilometres northwest of Dhaka. The accident occurred at the time of making the baloon with gas from the cyllinder on Saturday at 8.00am.Thosee suffering burn injuries were identified as Electrician Wahiduzzaman and Manzur Rahman of Civil Administration of RCC (30), Rubel (45) son of Hasan Ali a baloon seller of Rajshahi City, and Rabiul Islam (40) son of Makbul of Chotobongram.
The victims were sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) where two of them are in a critical conditions, Sister of Burn unit confirmed the matter.
Officer in Charge (OC) of Chargat Thana of Rajshahi said, an Annual Sports competition was scheduled to be held there on December 28, but unfortunately this accident occurred at the preparatory stage the event. – Rajshahi Correspondent
