Two persons were injured by explosion of gas-cylinder while pouring that into balloons for selling at Joyoshri under Wazirpur upazila of Barisal on Saturday morning.The injured two victims were identified as gas-balloon-seller Abul Hashem, 50, and Abu Sayeed, 22, from Churamonkathi of Jessore district, said Nurul Islam, Wazirpur police station officer in charge.The victims were recovered from the spot and sent to Barisal Sher E Bangla Medical College Hospital after the explosion, Nurul Islam, OC Wazirpur PS told. The gas cylinder blasted after becoming extremely heated for over-use and water threw on it to cool that, quoting witnesses’ police said Abul Kalam, ward master of SBMCH, said among the admitted injured, condition of Abul Hashem was severe and critical.
