Dhaka – Gazi Group Cricketers beat Kalabagan Krira Chakra by six wickets in Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League featuring 155 runs in the opening stand between Anamul Haque and Shamsur Rahman at Sher-e Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Tuesday.Kalabagan KC opened the innings first after losing the toss and scored 223 runs for lost all wickets in 48.4 overs.Tasamul Haque contributed team highest 47 runs off 63 balls with four boundaries while Hamilton Masakadza, Abdur Razzak and Jasimuddin made 40, 30 and 29 runs respectively.Alok Kapali grabbed 3 wickets conceding 36 runs while Moinul Islam and Saeed Anwar Jnr took 2 wickets each for 27 and 39 runs separately.In reply, Gazi Group Cricketers scored the match winning 225 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 45.3 overs. Opener Anamul Haque and Shamsur Rahman guided the team towards victory.Opener Shamsur Rahman scored the team highest 75 runs off 91 balls with nine boundaries and one over boundaries and was adjudged man of the match while Anamul Haque contributed 70 runs off 83 balls, hitting six fours and one six.National ODI and T20 captain Mashrafe Mortaza grabbed 2 wickets conceding 43 runs while Abdur Razzak and Nihaduzzaman took one wicket each.
