Oscar winner George Clooney and his wife, Amal Clooney, will host two campaign fund-raisers for Hillary Clinton next month.
Proceeds from back-to-back Clooney-hosted events in California—dinner and cocktails in Los Angeles and in San Francisco—will go to the Hillary Victory Fund.
In 2012, Clooney similarly hosted a $15 million fund-raising event for President Obama at his Hollywood Hills home that was attended by Robert Downey Jr., Barbra Streisand, Tobey Maguire, Billy Crystal, Jack Black, and Salma Hayek. The approximately 150 guests sat at round tables on Clooney’s basketball court, which was tented for the occasion.
