German-BD bid to develop Small and Medium Enterprise sector

Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Germany has organized with its Dhaka, Bangladesh, Branch an education program for Small and Medium Enterprise SME, on 1. July 2019 in Stuttgart.
Mr Habiullah Mahmud Additional Secretary of Ministry of Industries who was invited to the programme stressed that Bangladesh is now a Role Model for many other countries in case of Development. The country has undertaken some Megaprojects. This country is ready to work with Germany to uplift their economies. Ms Kalpona Akter, Human Right activist, called for the protection of dignity and rights of women workers. Akter campings for fair wages, garment factory safety and gender issues.
Mr Martin Sambeth tariff Secretary of IG Metal Baden Wuerttemberg, Germany explained how the workers getting training in Germany. It is important the right of workers must be guaranteed.
Anderas Stoch Chairman of Social Democratic Party SPD BW and Ex-Cultural and Youth Minister said, in Germany also the Small and Medium Industries are a success story for this province. They have more contribution to the success and sustainability of the German economy than bigger industries.
A training program allows strengthening those skills that each employee needs to improve. A development programme brings all employees to a higher level, so they all have similar skills and knowledge.
