Dhaka – Bangladeshi Grand Master (GM) Ziaur Rahman and Tahsin Tajwar Zia earned three points each after the 5th round matches of the 12th Chennai Open International Grandmasters Chess Tournament in the Indian city Chennai on Tuesday.
M Jishan Rahman Maleq earned 1.5 points after the day’s 5th round.
In the day’s 5th round matches, GM Zia beat Abhinav Chakrapani Santhalayan, Tahsin Tajwar Zia lost to GM Stupak Kirill of Belarus while Maleq beat Joel Paul Ganta of India.UNB
