The government on Wednesday formed a nine-member committee to find out those making objectionable comments against Islam and Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) using facebook and blog, and take action against them.

“The committee headed by Additional Secretary of the Home Ministry Mainuddin Khandakar was formed at the directive of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, and it’ll start work very soon,” PM press secretary Abul Kalam Azad said.

Azad said the Home Ministry would take necessary lawful actions on the basis of information and recommendations to be provided by the committee.
