Govt puts law enforcers face to face with people: Rizvi

BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed yesterday alleged that the government has put the law enforcers face to face with the people to cling to power.
He made the allegation in a statement issued yesterday.
The BNP leader expressed his determination that the government cannot stop the ongoing movement by carrying out heinous attacks on the opposition leaders and activists.“The blockade programme will continue until the victory is achieved,” he said.
Rizvi alleged that having failed to face the movement the government itself is creating sabotage and shifting its responsibility to the opposition.
He said though the government is carrying out propaganda against opposition by committing inhuman sabotage acts themselves, the people would never believe them.
The BNP spokesperson alleged that since the government has no legitimacy they are applying all their might to throttle the dissident opinion and opposition.
He regretted that the people of the country are living in anxious situation as they are surrounded by fearful and panicky environment. – Staff reporter
