Grocery shop in city catches fire

A grocery shop at Mirpur-10 of the city caught fire early Sunday. Fire Service sources said the fire originated from an electric short
circuit at the grocery shop of Abbas Ali at house No-3 of block-A in
the area around 1:10am, burning down most of its goods and valuables.
On information, two units of firefighters from Mirpur Fire Service
rushed to the spot and doused the flame at about 1:45am.
However, no casualty or injury was reported in the incident.
The extent of losses caused by the fire was said to be Tk 3 lakh. -UNB
