Rajshahi, Oct 29 – As recognition of best reporting in Campus Journalism, Four Journalists of Rajshahi University have been awarded as best reporters. President of Dhaka Reporters Unity and also the Chief News Editor of Baisakhi Television Saiful Islam handed over the award to them at the 32nd Founding Anniversary of Rajshahi University Press Club held at the Shahid Sukhranjan Somaddar Teacher and Student Cultural Center (TSCC) of the University on Monday.
The awardees are Jahidul Islam Joy of Daily Independent in English Reporting Category, K A M Sakib of GreenWatch Dhaka in English Feature, Salman Shakil of Daily Bonik Bartha in Bangla Reporting and Nazmul Mridha of Share Biz, Bangla Feature.
K A M Sakib has been nominated for the award for his Feature “RU teacher gets success in mushroom research” published in GreenWatch Dhaka.
Chief Adviser to the University Press Club and also president of University Teachers Association Professor Dr Amzad Hossain and University Student Adviser Professor Dr Laila Arjuman Banu were present there. – RU Correspondent
