Three people were killed and nine others injured in a head-on collision between two passenger buses in Jhilerdanga area Dumuria upazila Saturday morning.
Of the deceased, one was identified as Mamun, 25, helper of a bus and inhabitant of Arafat Project area of the district town.
Witnesses said a passenger bus collided head-on with another one in the area on Dhaka-Satkhira highway around 9:00am, leaving three dead on the spot and injured nine others.
The injured were sent to Khulna Medical College Hospital.
