Hong Kong stocks track Wall St down at open

Shares eased in the first few minutes of Hong Kong trade Friday, in line with a broad Asian sell-off following losses on Wall Street.

The Hang Seng Index dipped 0.17 percent, or 49.53 points, at 29,087.04.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.13 percent, or 4.61 points, to 3,423.18 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, dipped 0.10 percent, or 2.05 points, to 2,026.64, reports BSS, Hong Kong.
