A housewife allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling of a house at Dudhbakshi village in Bianibazar upazila on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Sabina Yasmin, 23, wife of Shibbir Ahmed, a Kuwait expatriate of the village.
Police said Sabina committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling of her house at about 1 pm.
Police suspected that Sabina might have committed suicide over family feud.
An unnatural death case was filed in this connection.
