Results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equal examinations are expected to be published within the first week of August, the Inter-Education Board Coordination Subcommittee chief says.Speaking to bdnews24.com on Saturday, Prof Taslima Begum said a final date is yet to be fixed.
“However, HSC results will be published on the day the Prime Minister fixes in the first week of August,” she said.
“We have forwarded a proposal to the education ministry in this regard,” Begum, who is also the Dhaka Education Board Chairperson said.
This year, 10,12,581 students sat for the examination under the HSC, madrasa, vocational boards and DIBS (Diploma in Business Studies).
As per the Education Ministry’s announcement, over the past several years, the results of public examinations are being published within 60 days of the tests.
The HSC and equal test results are supposed to be published within Aug 3.
A total of 41 subjects were rescheduled this year due to general strikes and cyclone Mahasen. – bdnews24.com
