Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in separate drives seized huge quantity of various types of drugs from Putkhali and Shikerpur frontier area under Sharsha upazila of the district in the early hours today.
On a tip-off, a BGB team conducted the drives in the frontier areas and seized 3,520 bottles of contraband phensidyl, 51-kg ganja and 840 pieces of tablets, said BGB- 26 commanding officer Lt. col. Motiur Rahman.Separate cases were filed with concerned thana in these connections. -BSS, Jessore
