Students and teachers of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) formed a human chain on the university campus seeking arrest and capital punishment to the killer of Sohagi Jahan Tonu yesterday at 5 pm.Around 200 students of the university were present in the human chain carrying placards and festoons in front of Bijoy 71’.
Tonu, 19 years old was a student from Comilla Victoria College who happened to help her family by providing tuitions.
She, on her way back home from tuitions, was raped, tortured and killed Tuesday night inside Comilla cantonment area.
