Mymensingh, Oct 14 – A BNP-backed teachers’ organisation ‘Sonali Dol’ has staged a human chain in front of ‘Muktomoncho’ of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) demanding punishment of Abrar killers and stoppage of student torture in the name of ragging and guest room culture in the university.Speaker said that, till now more than 150 students have been killed in various universities across the country, but most have not been prosecuted. Many are being persecuted, but no one dares to say anything for fear of the ruling party. We stand on the streets today as a representative of the oppressed. People will wake up one day, and at one time will be swallowed up to prevent injustice. We strongly condemn the brutal murder of Abrar, who was brutally killed in protest of ‘the anti-national agreement’.
‘Sonali Dol’ president Prof Dr Md Shahidul Haque, general secretary Prof Dr Md Abdul Alim, Prof Dr Md Hammadur Rahman, Prof Dr Md Asaduzzaman Sarker spoke on the human chain.
