IBBL helds training program of RDS

Dhaka-Once I had a broken house. Rain penetrates my house roof. In the rainy night I had to pass sleepless night with my children. Now I have a pacca house. My children are availing education. My family income has increased. I have been passing my days in happiness. Rokeya Begum, a Rural Development Scheme (RDS) client of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited was telling her success story. She started cow rearing ten years back taking an investment of Tk. 5 thousand from RDS of the Bank. Now, she is a successful woman entrepreneur with the expansion of her business. Like Rokeya, Milon Rani, Shefali Akhter, Parveen Akter, Shova Rani, Deepti Rani and others expressed their success story in a training program of RDS center leaders of Amin Bazar Branch on Saturday, August 27, 2016.
M. Azizul Haq, Vice Chairman of the Bank was present in the program as chief guest. Presided over by Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director & CEO, the program was addressed by Md. Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, Chairman, Audit Committee, Md. Abdul Mabud, PPM, Chairman Risk Management Committee, Professor Dr. Quazi Shahidul Alam, Maj Gen (Rtd) Engr. Abdul Matin, Md. Syful Islam, FCA, FCMA, Md. Borhan Uddin Ahmed, Directors, Md. Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan, FCA, Deputy Managing Director and Md. Kawsar-ul-Alam, Executive Vice President of the Bank. A total of 300 RDS clients including 250 center leaders participated in the training program.
