IBBL inaugurates 13 new Sub-Branches

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited inaugurated 13 new Sub-Branches in Dhamrai Bazar, Chiriakhana Road, Faidabad, Urdu Road, Rayerbag and Meradia of Dhaka, Baluchora of Chattogram, Mirer Bazar and Shafipur Bazar of Gazipur, Nathullabad and Banglabazar of Barishal, Moilapota Moor of Khulna and Jajira of Shariatpur on 16 November 2020, Monday at a virtual platform.

Md. Mahbub ul Alam, Managing Director and CEO of the bank was present in the program as chief guest. Mohammed Monirul Moula, Muhammad Qaisar Ali and Md. Omar Faruk Khan, Additional Managing Directors of the Bank addressed the program as special guests. Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Deputy Managing Director presided over the program while Md. Mahboob Alam, Senior Executive Vice President of the bank made the welcome speech. High Officials of the bank, Head of concerned Zones and Branches, executives, officials, clients, well-wishers and dignitaries participated in the local functions were also connected in the virtual program.
Md. Mahbub ul Alam said, Islami Bank is the bank of mass people. The bank has been able to achieve excellence in all indicators of business due to the people’s trust and love toward professionalism and sense of responsibility of the employees of IBBL. By maintaining the policy of honesty, sincerity, dedication and expertise of its officials in providing technology-rich services, IBBL has also been achieving global recognition overcoming the national boundary, he added.
IBBL contributes significantly to national foreign exchange reserve by collecting one-third of expatriates’ remittance of the country.
He said, IBBL is currently serving clients through 366 branches, 144 sub-branches, 1773 Agent Banking Outlets, 1175 own and about 11,000 shared ATM and CRM booths. IBBL is one step ahead in use of financial technology and digital banking services as well as expressed his firm determination to continue this trend. He directed the officials to work for the betterment of living standards of the people by providing inclusive modern banking services in the respective areas through these new sub-branches. – Press release
