IBBL Khulna Zone holds special Business Development Conference

Khulna Zone of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited organized special Business Development Conference virtually on 17 June 2020, Wednesday. Md. Mahbub ul Alam, Managing Director and CEO of the bank addressed the conference as chief guest. Mohammed Monirul Moula, Muhammad Qaisar Ali and Md. Omar Faruk Khan, Additional Managing Directors of the Bank addressed the conference as special guests. Abu Reza Md. Yeahia, AAM Habibur Rahman, Md. Siddiqur Rahman and Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Deputy Managing Directors, Mohammad Jamal Uddin Mazumder, Abul Faiz Muhammad Kamaluddin, Mohammed Shabbir, Md. Mahboob Alam and Muhammad Sayeed Ullah and G M Mohd. Gias Uddin Quader, Senior Executive Vice Presidents also addressed the conference. Presided over by Md. Abdus Salam, Head of Khulna Zone, Head of Branches under the zone attended the conference.

Md. Mahbub ul Alam said that, every crisis has a solution, no crisis is permanent. in this pandemic we have to manage ourselves properly, he added. He expressed his gratitude to the Honorable Prime Minister for his sincere, timely and prudent decision from the very beginning of the current situation to keep the country’s losses at a minimum level. He thanked the Governor, the Central Bank and all other regulatory bodies for giving timely guidance to the banking sector.

He said, Islami Bank is going to become a bank of 10 million crore deposits soon and expressed satisfaction over the growth in deposit and remittance collection of bank, he added. Along with branches more than one thousand agent banking outlets of the bank have made remittance collection quick, easy and secure, he added. He said, the bank is performing well in all indicators of business even in times of crisis due to having trust and confidence of expatriates, clients, well-wishers and the people towards Islami Bank, sincere service of the employees and timely guidance of the competent Board of Directors. He paid respect to the employees of Islami Bank, banking sector and above all those who have fallen victim to health risks and died by devoting themselves to the service of the people.
