Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited has opened its 296th Branch at Kalkini under Madaripur District. Enrg. Md. Eskander Ali Khan, Chairman, Executive Committee of the Bank inagurated the branch as the chief guest on August 20, 2015 Thursday.Presided over by Muhammad Abul Bashar, Deputy Managing Director of the bank, the inaugural ceremony was addressed by Md. Towfiquzzaman, Chairman, Kalkini Upazila Parishad, Enayet Hossain, Mayor, Kalkini Pourashava, Dr. Mohammad Abdus Samad, member, Shariah Supervisory Committee of the Bank, Md. Hemayet Uddin, Upazila Nirbahi Officer, Kalkini, Kripa Shindhu Bala, Officer-in-charge, Kalkini Thana and Mawlana Muhammad Abdus Sobhan, Principal, Kalkini Fazil Madrasah.
