Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited provided 25 thousand pieces blankets to the Prime Minister’s Relief and Welfare Fund for the cold-affected people. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina received the blankets from Engr. Mustafa Anwar, Chairman and Prof. Syed Ahsanul Alam, Executive Committee Chairman of the Bank at the latter’s office on December 8, 2016, Thursday. Salman F Rahman, Private Sector Development Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister, Dr. Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury, Principal Secretary, Prime Minister`s Office, Md Nazrul Islam Majumder, Chairman, Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) and Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed. Chairman, Standard Bank were present at the time. Earlier, Islami Bank donated 2 lac pieces bankets to the same fund.
